Paul Daniels was a founding Squirrel brother. From pre-history, through the end and beyond, an integral ingredient in the sound, look, and soul of the band. His reggae song Doomsday Prophets was a staple of any show. He took off for awhile in the middle to attend to other life issues, and it was a welcome sight when he returned.

Paul has certainly remained creative through the years, a deeply thoughtful, intelligent, and spiritual man with a high personal goalpost. At this time however, he’s declined to participate in the nostalgia trip. The past is a bittersweet thing for us all, and we all have a lot on our plates. He calls it as he sees it, and we respect that.

We miss him. Maybe he’ll change his mind. We all do that. But for now, as you remember us, please remember him too.
